THE PERSON
I am Giselle Koy. Interior designer, sculptor, lifelong maker. The medium keeps changing. The act is always the same.

I have been creating my whole life. The medium keeps changing. Metal into jewelry. Fabric into fashion. Raw spaces into rooms that make you stop at the door. The act is always the same: seeing what something could become, and then making it real.

I studied sculpture at the University of Texas and design at Marangoni in Milan. I have spent decades studying the classical traditions, the furniture periods, the textile histories, the architectural proportions that produced the most enduring spaces on earth. I was invited to select Pantone's colors of the year. I have worked across four countries and published six books. All of that lives in every room I design. You may never see it. You will feel it.

The first thing I ask every person I work with is this: what is your heart's desire for your space? Not what is your budget. Not what is your style. What does your heart desire. The answer is different for everyone, and it does not matter whether the path to get there costs two hundred dollars or two hundred thousand. Everyone deserves to love where they live. That has always been the point.

I know it is finished when I walk in and it hums.
Love,
